MALLA REDDY INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE (MRITS) The emblem of Malla Reddy Institute of Technology and Science (MRITS) features a hand holding a burning torch supported by an open book placed on a green gearwheel inscribed with the name of the college and supported by a green banner inscribed with its initials ‘MRITS’ and its motto in Sanskrit. This assemblage is placed on a gold circle inscribed with the status of the college. Below the circle, on a golden banner the initials ‘MRITS’ is inscribed. The torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power symbolises; the book refers to  knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the gearwheel denotes engineering, technology, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.
