SRI JAYADEV COLLEGE OF EDUCATION AND TECHNOLOGY (SJCET) (SRI JAYADEVA COLLEGE) The emblem of Sri Jayadev College of Education and Technology (SJCET) (Sri Jayadeva College) features a peacock with its wings spread with glowing sun as a backdrop and ensconced by a gearwheel inscribed with the name of the college in Odia. Behind the gearwheel, a flute symbolising Sri Jayadeva’s devotion to Lord Krishna is placed and a gearwheel is crested by the Ocellation or Eyespot of the peacock’s feather referring to Lord Krishna. On a banner placed below the gearwheel the name of the college is written. The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the peacock refers to beauty, royalty, divinity, and renewal; and the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity.

ST. JOSEPH'S COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY (SJCET) The emblem of St. Joseph'S College of Engineering and Technology (SJCET) features a gearwheel inscribed with the name and place of the college housing the motifs of a green globe with an orbiting ring, a traditional lamp, and a satellite. The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the satellite symbolises technology and engineering.
