SVKM'S SHRI BHAGUBHAI MAFATLAL POLYTECHNIC & COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (SSBPCE) The emblem of SVKM's Shri Bhagubhai Mafatlal Polytechnic & College of Engineering (SSBPCE) features a shield inscribed with the motifs of a water dam, a furnace with molten metal and a power transmission tower with lines referring to the subject disciplines of engineering. The shield is crested by a motif of a factory and supported by a banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ ( Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita ) meaning ‘ Yoga is Skill in Action ’. The seal is circumscribed by the name of the college and the assemblage is placed in a gearwheel. The wheel is supported by a pair of laurels. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; and the laurels are  symbols o...
