DON BOSCO INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ( DBIT ) The emblem of Don Bosco Institute of Technology (DBIT) features a monogram of its initials ‘DBIT’ forming a circle as a background supporting bust of Saint John Bosco at the center surrounded by the motifs of a gear and other technical and engineering elements, including a computer monitor, and circumscribed the Institute’s motto ‘ Technology for the Young ’ and its initials ‘DBIT’. The portrait represents the founder and the source of inspiration for the institution's educational philosophy; and the other motifs symbolise the focus on technical and engineering education .

DON BOSCO INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (DBIT) The emblem of Don Bosco Institute of Technology (DBIT) features a structure of an atom, a laptop computer, an open book, a satellite dish antenna and a satellite; its name and place; its motto in Sanskrit ‘श्रद्धावान् लभते ज्ञानम्’ (Verse 39, Chapter 4, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘The Believer Attains Knowledge’; on a yellow circle. Below the circle, on a banner, the motto in Kannada ‘ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾವಾನ್ ಲಭತೇ ಜ್ಞಾನಂ’ is inscribed. The motifs in the circle represent the subject disciplines of engineering, learning, education and knowledge.
