This is symbolic of the necessity and the requirement of young people to train and assume leadership roles in their chosen fields in an exemplary manner. The name of the college is written below the golden seal . The golden circular shape symbolises exclusivity , privilege , divine grace , immense value  and unique rarity .

MGM COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY (MGMCET) The emblem of MGM College of Engineering & Technology (MGMCET) features an open book supporting a crown crested with a flying eagle supported by its name and a pair of laurels. At the bottom, on a banner, the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya, 1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘From Darkness Lead Me to Light’ is inscribed.
