GURU NANAK DEV ENGINEERING COLLEGE, BIDAR (GNDECB) The emblem of the Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Bidar (GNDECB) features a Khanda, the sacred symbol of Sikhs crested by ‘ੴ’ Ik Onkar signifying the oneness of God, holding the motifs of a farmer in the field, a tractor, and a water dam referring to the different fields of engineering surmounted by the motto of the college ‘Essence of Wisdom is Service of Humanity’. This assemblage is supported by a pair of banners inscribed with the name of the college and the name of the place. The Khanda symbolises divine knowledge, the power to discern truth, and the ability to cut through illusion.
