SIR M. VISVESVARAYA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (SIR MVIT)
SIR M. VISVESVARAYA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (SIR MVIT) The emblem of Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology (Sir MVIT) features an image of the Goddess Saraswati referring to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom. The motif is surmounted by a partial gearwheel inscribed with the name of the managing Trust and supported by a banner, on which the name of the college is written. Below this assembly, a bridge, a computer, a pair of power symbols and a pair of laurels are placed. The year establishment of the college is written at the bottom. The laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering.
