ST JOSEPH ENGINEERING COLLEGE, MANGALURU (SJEC) The emblem of St Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru (SJEC) features a yellow and green shield housing the motifs of a Maltese Cross, a yellow banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Service and Excellence’  and the image of ‘Saint Joseph the Worker’. The shield is supported by the name and place of the college. The Cross refers to the religious affiliation of the college and the image of the saint symbolises the divine blessings and guidance. The shield denotes  protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery.
