H M S INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (HMSIT) The emblem of H M S Institute of Technology (HMSIT) features a gearwheel housing a green circle having the motifs of industrial machinery ensconced by a circular cyan border inscribed by its motto ‘Sincerity Integrity and Service’. The gearwheel is inscribed with the name of the Institute. On a green banner placed on the gearwheel at the bottom, the place of the Institute is inscribed. The gearwheel denotes engineering, technology, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; and the central motif refers to the subject of engineering.
