LOKNETE SHAMRAO PEJE GOVERNMENT COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (LSPGCOER) The emblem of Loknete Shamrao Peje Government College of Engineering (LSPGCOER) features a gearwheel housing the traditional Maharashtrian lamp ‘ Laman Diva ’ in a circle. The gearwheel is surmounted by the name of the managing Directorate of the college in Marathi ‘महाराष्ट्र शासन तंत्रशिक्षण संचालनालय’ and ensconced by a circle. At the bottom, on a banner, the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘राष्ट्रोद्धाराय तंत्र शिक्षणम्’ meaning ‘Technical Education for the Upliftment of the Nation ’ is inscribed. The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; and the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.
