MARATHA MANDAL ENGINEERING COLLEGE (MMEC) The emblem of Maratha Mandal Engineering College (MMEC) features a nib of a fountain pen with an orbiting ring holding a gearwheel, kept on a pedestal supported by the  initials of the college. The nib of a pen symbolises freedom, intelligence, creativity, professionalism, determination and diligence; and the gearwheel denotes engineering, technology, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.
