AVN INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY (AVNIET) The emblem of AVN Institute of Engineering & Technology (AVNIET) features a shield inscribed with the motifs of a scale and hammer, a gearwheel, a facade of a ceremonial entrance with four pillars and the name of the college ‘AVN’, a banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Wisdom Virtue Service’, and a lotus. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the facade of the building symbolises institution; the lotus denotes purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering.
