GOVERNMENT COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, JAMMU (GCETJ) The emblem of Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu (GCETJ) features a circle with the motifs of a left hand symbol, a factory building, electrical transmission tower with lines, a dish antenna and a tower and a computer, ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Let Noble Thoughts Come to Us From All Sides’ and a partial gearwheel. The name of the college is written below the seal. The left-hand electrical symbol refers to Fleming's Left-Hand Rule, a visual guide used to find the direction of force in an electric motor; the factory, transmission tower, antenna and computer refer to the subject disciplines of engineering; the gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.

GOVERNMENT COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, THANJAVUR (GCETJ) The emblem of Government College of Engineering, Thanjavur (GCETJ) features a circle housing the image of iconic gopuram of the Brihadisvara Temple or the ‘Periya Koil’ of Thanjavur and the motifs of a transmission tower, a set of three meshing gear wheels, a pair of electrical transmission towers, a pair of buildings and a laptop representing different branches of engineering, ensconced by a circular border inscribed with its name and place. The circle is supported by a blue banner at the bottom, inscribed with its motto ‘Land of Knowledge’ and by a pair of ears of rice sides. The rice refers to Thanjavur- the granary of Tamilnadu.
