NORTH MALABAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (NMIT) The brown and grey emblem of North Malabar Institute of Technology (NMIT) features an abstract depiction of the letter ‘N’ supporting a flight of a staircase with seven steps with its initials ‘NMIT’ written on the bottom step. The brown staircase denotes movement, progress and journey; and the colour brown signifies the earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition.
