ST. GREGORIOS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (SGCE) The emblem of St. Gregorios College of Engineering (SGCE) features a diptych superimposed on an ancient crucifix of the St. Thomas (Nasrani) community of Kerala, which consists of three cloves at each end, representing the Holy Trinity. The crucifix features a circular icon bearing the portrait of Saint Gregorios of Parumala, which is encircled by the name of the institution. The left panel of the diptych depicts an open book which is an universal symbol for learning and wisdom. The right of the diptych shows the rising sun denoting the hope of a better, more promising future that can be made possible only by an enlightened and educated citizenry. The motto of the college ‘Study, Serve & Sanctify in God’ is inscribed on a red banner below the seal. The year of inception is placed at the bottom.
