SINHGAD TECHNICAL EDUCATION SOCIETY'S SINHGAD INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE (SITS) The oval-shaped emblem of Sinhgad Technical Education Society's Sinhgad Institute of Technology and Science (SITS) features a pink silhouette motif of the Singhad Fort with black silhouette motifs of two persons shaking their hands, a person holding a globe with a human, a civil engineering surveyor and a person working with a computer. Below the seal, on a yellow banner, the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ ( Yajnavalkya , 1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra , Brihadaranyaka Upanishad ) meaning ‘ From Darkness Lead Me to Light ’ is inscribed. The person with a globe and human denotes responsibility, stewardship, protection, and the interconnectedness of humanity; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering.

SIDDHARTHA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY & SCIENCES (SITS) The logo of Siddhartha Institute of Technology & Sciences (SITS) features a pictorial of a blue gearwheel housing a cyan circle with an yellow and red orbiting ring inscribed with the letter ‘S’ and circumscribed by the motto of the college ‘Global Perspective Global Prospects’. The name and place of the college are written on the right of the pictorial. The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; and the orbiting ring symbolises global vision and reach, dynamic learning and growth and interconnectedness.
