KS SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT (KSSEM) The emblem of KS School of Engineering and Management (KSSEM) features a shield holding the motifs of a mortarboard hat, an open book, and a traditional lamp; supported by a pair of laurels, placed on a globe ensconced by a blue circular border with its name and place written in gold letters. Below the seal the initials of the college in extra bold capitals on a blue banner and its full name written on a red banner below. The shield denotes denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; the book refers to education, knowledge, learning and wisdom; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the laurels are the symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
