VIDYA ACADEMY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (VAST) The brown colour emblem of Vidya Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) features a globe with Albers and Mollweide projection supporting its name ‘Vidya’ in extrabold lowercase with the letter ‘i’ is capped by a mortarboard hat. The college's motto ‘Progress Through Education’ is written at the bottom. The globe refers to education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the mortarboard or Oxford hat refers to educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; and the colour brown signifies the earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition.
