E. G. S. PILLAY ENGINEERING COLLEGE (EGSPEC) The light yellow and orange circular seal of E. G. S. Pillay Engineering College (EGSPEC) features a image of Lord Ganesha placed inside the Tamil letter ‘ஓம்’ and kept on a shield ensconced by a border inscribed with its name. On a banner placed below the shield,the name of the place of college is written. The shield is surmounted by the words ‘Work is Worship’ and ‘Truth Triumphs’ is written below the banner. All these are placed on a circle with a blue outline. Lord Ganesha refers to blessings and benevolence of the divine; the letter ‘ஓம்’ refers to Lord Murugan; and the shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery.
