The emblem of Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering & Research Centre (GGSCERC) features an abstract yellow and red flame on an openbook and ‘ੴ’ or ‘Ik Om’ or ‘Ek Onkar’ placed above a globe of the world ensconced by a gearwheel inscribed with the name and place of the college. The motto of the college ‘Educating with Global Standards’ is inscribed on a blue banner placed below the gearwheel. At the bottom, the year of establishment of the college is written. The Gurmukhi letter ‘ੴ’ means ‘God is One’ which is a core principle of Sikhism; the flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; and the gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.
