MAHATMA GANDHI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (MGIT) The emblem of Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT) features an open book placed on a dark blue circle ensconced by a yellow border inscribed with the name of the place of college. These are placed in a dark blue circle inscribed with the name of the college and placed on a pedestal inscribed with the college’s motto ‘ Knowledge is Power’. The book symbolises knowledge, education, learning and wisdom.
