APOLLO ENGINEERING COLLEGE (AEC) The emblem of Apollo Engineering College (AEC) features a red shield housing the motifs of an open book and a flame supported on sides by a pair of laurels and crested by a mortarboard hat. The shield is surmounted by a blue banner inscribed with the name of the college and supported by a blue banner inscribed with its motto ‘Educated Extolled Everywhere’. The emblem has golden  yellow outlines. The denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the book refers to education, learning, knowledge and wisdom; the is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; the are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; the mortarboard  or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; and the colour red signifies passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.
