The blue and gold emblem of R.C. Patel College of Engineering and Polytechnic (RCPCEP) features a blue shield with gold outlines and details. The shield houses letters ‘SES’ crested by an open book with a quill and the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘सा विद्या या विमुक्तये’ (Rishi Parāśara, 1,19.41,Viṣṇu Purāṇa) meaning ‘Knowledge is one that Liberates’. A blue banner with gold outlines placed on the shield at the bottom is inscribed with the name of the managing Society. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the book refers to learning, education, knowledge and wisdom; the quill symbolises intellect, knowledge, wisdom, and creative expression. The colour blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty; and gold denotes wealth, prosperity, power, prestige and achievement.
