A blue banner with gold outlines placed on the shield at the bottom is inscribed with the name of the managing Society. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the book refers to learning, education, knowledge and wisdom; the quill symbolises intellect, knowledge, wisdom, and creative expression. The colour blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty; and gold denotes wealth, prosperity, power, prestige and achievement.
