SREE NARAYANA GURU INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (SNGIST) The emblem of Sree Narayana Guru Institute of Science and Technology (SNGIST) features an orange rectangular panel housing the motifs of a silhouetted image of Sree Narayana Guru sitting below a tree with students sitting in front of him. The name of the college surmounts the motifs and the name of the place supports it. The Guru refers to the managing trust of the college; the tree symbolises strength, individuality, expression, calmness, growth, the interconnectedness of everything and perpetuity; and the colour orange refers to energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.
