The circular seal of DMI College of Engineering (DMICE) features a man holding the hands of a girl and a boy and looking at a mountain horizon with three flying birds, ensconced by a yellow and violet circular border inscribed with the name of the Foundation and the motto of the college ‘Fully Human & Fully Alive’. The name of the college supports the seal. The birds signify freedom, a connection to the spiritual world, and transcendence; and the adult and the children refer to the teacher and the student; strength, stability, and timelessness, as well as a higher perspective and aspiration. The mountain horizon represents strength, stability, and timelessness, as well as a higher perspective and aspiration. The horizon itself can symbolise infinite possibilities, the journey ahead, or a sense of infinity, while the mountain represents the challenges and the endurance needed to reach the destination. The combination of these elements conveys themes of peace, hope, faith, and community, with a religious orientation or foundation focusing on fostering strong relationships and shared values.

EMBLEM OF MAHARASHTRA The emblem of the State of Maharashtra is a circular seal depicting a Samai Diva Lamp surrounded by 16 lotus blooms. Between the Samai lamp and lotus blossoms is a motto in Sanskrit 'प्रतिपच्चंद्रलेखेव वर्धिष्णुर्विश्व वंदिता महाराष्ट्रस्य राज्यस्य मुद्रा भद्राय राजते' ( Pratipaccandralēkhēva vardhiṣṇurviśva vanditā mahārāṣṭrasya rājyasya mudrā bhadrāya rājatē ), which translates as ‘The Glory of this Seal of the State Government of Maharashtra will Grow like the First day Moon. It will be worshipped by the world and will shine only for the well being of its people’. The motto is based on one found on the (rajmudra) ‘royal seal’ used by 17th century Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji, the only difference being that the name of the monarch is replaced by the name of the State.
