UNIVERSAL ENGINEERING COLLEGE (UEC) The emblem of Universal Engineering College (UEC) features a blue shield with an orange border inscribed with circles on the sides and stars on the top, housing the motifs of an open book and a torch with flames. The shield is supported by an orange banner inscribed with the college’s motto ‘Enlightenment Through Knowledge’. At the bottom, its initials ‘UEC’ is written in blue sans-serif capitals. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; the stars refer to guidance, hope and dreams; and the colour orange signifies energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.
