ALAGAPPA COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY (ACTECH) The gold coloured emblem of Alagappa College of Technology (ACTECH) features the letter ‘A’ holding a student with a mortarboard hat supported by an arc. Below this, the initials of the college ‘A C Tech’ is written. At the bottom, the motto of the college ‘Excellence Triumphs’ is written. The student with a mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; and the gold colour denotes wealth, prosperity, power, prestige and achievement.
