The emblem of Matoshri Education Society's Matoshri Asarabai Polytechnic (MESMAP) features a yellow and red shield with the image of Goddess Saraswati, the God of Learning and motifs of a pair of gearwheels, a laptop computer, satellite dish antenna, a windmill, a diagram of an atom, a mobile phone handset, and a set of beakers. The seal is surmounted by the name of the college. The shield is supported by a banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Enriching Knowledge’. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering.

The central motifs of the winged Staff of Caduceus entwined by a pair of serpents crested with a flaming torch, supported by an open book and a pair of laurels replace the Lion Capital; and the name, place and motto of the college replace the name of the State. The motto of the college in Sanskrit is ‘विद्यया विन्दते अमृतम्’ (Mantra 2.4, Kenopanishad), which translates to ‘Immortality Through Knowledge’. The Staff of Caduceus symbolises medicine and medical profession; the book symbolises the accumulation and dissemination of medical knowledge and the academic foundation of the institution; the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; and the laurels are symbols, which represent victory, honour and academic excellence.
