P. R. POTE PATIL COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING & MANAGEMENT (PRPCEM) The emblem of P. R. Pote Patil College of Engineering & Management (PRPCEM) features a gearwheel holding the image of the traditional lamp ‘Laman Diva’ of Maharashtra supported by an open book and the name of the place. ABove the gearwheel, the name of the college is written and at the bottom of the motifs, the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘विद्या परम् दैवतम’ meaning ‘Education is the Prime Deity’ is written. The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the laman diva which is an integral part of Marathi culture, used in religious rituals, festivals, and ceremonies represents prosperity, knowledge, auspicious beginnings, and the eternal divine.
