MAHESHWARA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (MEC) The circular emblem of Maheshwara College of Engineering (MEC) features the letter ‘M’ created with two vertical pink strokes resembling columns and a cyan check mark ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and place of the college. The vertical strokes represent strength, foundation, or the pillars of knowledge and support that the institution provides to its students; and the checkmark symbolises progress, achievement, success, and the aspiration for growth and higher learning in engineering.

MATRUSRI ENGINEERING COLLEGE (MEC) The emblem of Matrusri Engineering College (MEC) features an open book on a blue circle circumscribed by the name and place of the college supported by a pair of laurels. Below the seal, the motto of the college in Latin ‘Technology Traverses Terestra’  meaning ‘Technology Moves the Earth’ is inscribed on a banner. The details of the sponsoring Society are written between the seal and banner. The book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

MODEL ENGINEERING COLLEGE, KOCHI (MEC) The emblem of Model Engineering College, Kochi (MEC) features a pair of elephants supporting a computer and a microprocessor crested by a burning torch with diagrams of wave and electronic circuit placed inside a gearwheel and supported by a banner. Below the banner, its tagline ‘Manpower Development’ is written. At the bottom, on a large banner the name of the college is inscribed. The elephants represent the State of Kerala; the torch is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; the gearwheel refers to interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; and the other motifs refer to the subject of engineering.

MAHENDRA ENGINEERING COLLEGE (MEC) The circular emblem of Mahendra Engineering College (MEC) features a gopuram superimposed by the sacred spear or ‘vel’ of Lord Murugan’ and supported by an open book placed in a circle with green outline. This circle is surrounded by the motifs of a computer, a dish antenna, a pair of electrical transmission towers, and a building referring to the branches of engineering courses offered by the college and a traditional lamp symbolising light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity. This assemblage is placed within a blue gearwheel referring to interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure. The name of the college surmounts the gear and a green banner inscribed with its motto ‘வாய்மை தூய்மை மேன்மை’ meaning ‘Truth Cleanliness Growth’.
