PRIME INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY (PIET) The circular seal of Prime Institute of Engineering & Technology (PIET) features a globe supporting an open book crested by a mortarboard hat supported by its motto in Sanskrit ‘आत्म दीपो भवः’ meaning 'Let One's Atma Illuminate' and ensconced by a circular border inscribed with its name and place. The globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the open book refers to education, learning, knowledge and wisdom; and the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage.
