BMS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT (BMSIT) The seal of BMS Institute of Technology and Management (BMSIT) features a grey circle holding the motifs of an electrical transmission tower, a diagram of an atom, a satellite, a computer, a pair of satellite dish antennas and structural bridge, ensconced by a blue circle inscribed with the name and place of the college and a gearwheel. Below the seal, on a banner, the motto of the college in Kannada ‘ನಹಿ ಜ್ಞಾನೇನ ಸದೃಶಂ’ (Chapter 4, verse 38 of the Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘In this World, There is Nothing as Pure and Virtuous as the Pursuit of Knowledge’ is inscribed.
