G.M. VEDAK INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (GMVIT) The emblem of G.M. Vedak Institute of Technology (GMVIT) features a gearwheel, a satellite dish antenna and open book placed on a red teardrop shape ensconced by a blue banner with its head pointed as an arrow and inscribed with the name of the college. The  gerawheel and the antenna refers to technology, engineering and the subject disciplines of engineering; the book refers to education, knowledge, learning and wisdom; and the blue banner with the arrowhead is a symbol of dynamism , growth, movement, protection from illness and negative energy, strength, and courage.
