CHANDY COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (CCE) The emblem of Chandy College of Education (CCE) features a golden pennant inscribed with the motifs of an oyster from which two humans walk out from and an open book alongwith the motto of the college in Tamil ‘பணிவாய் பயில்வோம் உழைப்பால் உயர்வோம்’. The name of the college is written on the right in red sans-serif capitals and the tagline of the college ‘Reach Within. Shape Your Future’ is inscribed on a yellow banner placed below the name. The pennant symbolises victory, achievement, and identity; the humans refer to the teacher and the student emerging out of an oyster as pearls through the process of education; and the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom.

The stars represent perfect harmony among all things in life, with its points providing insight into how we can strive towards achieving this goal; and the colour blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
