The brown colour emblem of KSGBS's Bharat-Ratna Indira Gandhi College of Engineering (BIGCE)  features an archway holding the motif of a four pillared entrance facade inscribed with the name of the college, supporting the initials of the management and supported by the motto of the college ‘New Spirit… New Horizons…’. Seven stars surmount the arch. The archway symbolises strength, transition, and connection between realms; the facade symbolises strength, stability, and enduring grandeur, as well as being associated with notions of power, classical ideals, and civic virtue; the stars symbolise hope, guidance, excellence, and achievement; and the colour brown signifies the earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition.
