SWAMI VIVEKANANDA GROUP OF COLLEGES PILLAIYARPATTI (SVCE) The emblem of Swami Vivekananda Group of Colleges, Pillaiyarpatti (SVCE) features a portrait of Swami Vivekananda placed in an oval with a thick brown border and supported by a brown banner inscribed with the name and initials of the Group. Swami Vivekananda symbolises a blend of profound spiritual wisdom, renunciation, and dynamic strength. The colour brown signifies the earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition.

SRI VENKATESWARA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (SVCE) The circular seal of Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (SVCE) features the letter ‘ॐ’ placed in a circle ensconced by a larger circle housing the motifs of structure of DNA, a pair of electrical transmission towers, a pair of gear wheels, a satellite dish antenna, an electronic circuit, an automobile, an anchor and a computer referring to the branches of engineering taught by the college. This assemblage is ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college and its motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्या परा देवता’ meaning ‘Education is the Supreme God’. The letter ‘ॐ’ or ‘Ohm’ or ‘Om’ is a symbol representing a sacred sound, syllable, mantra and an invocation and the Indian red denotes divinity, passion, energy and fire.
