SINDHUDURG SHIKSHAN PRASARAK MANDAL'S COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING ( SSPM COE ) The emblem of Sindhudurg Shikshan Prasarak Mandal's College of Engineering (SSPMCOE) features a red and green circular decorative plaque housing the motifs of an open book, a diagram of an atom, a graduate with a scroll and a mortarboard hat, and a person working with a computer. The pictorial is surmounted by a red banner inscribed with the name of the college and supported by a banner inscribed with the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘सा विद्या या विमुक्तये’ ( Rishi Parāśara , 1,19.41, Viṣṇu Purāṇa ) meaning ‘ Knowledge is One That Liberates ’.
