KLS GOGTE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (KLS GIT) The emblem of KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (KLS GIT) features a sprocket wheel holding the motifs of a factory, a motor supported by a pair of power symbols and a weighing machine circumscribed with the name of the college, its place, and its motto in Sanskrit ‘अमृतं तु विद्या’ meaning ‘Knowledge is Nectar’. The sprocket wheel is placed in a circle with a red outline and a pair of green laurels support it. The sprocket wheel denotes mechanical precision, power transmission, movement, and progress; the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; and the other motifs refer to the subject of engineering.
