K.S. INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (KSIT) The predominantly blue colour emblem of K.S. Institute of Technology (KSIT) features a shield housing the motifs of a traditional lamp, a mortarboard hat and an open book supported by a pair of laurels and placed on a globe of the world. The circle is ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college. Below the seal, on a blue and red banner, the initials and the name of the college respectively are inscribed. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the mortarboard hat or Oxford hat denotes educational achievement, equality, tradition and rights of passage; the book refers to education, learning, knowledge and wisdom; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
