KING GEORGE'S MEDICAL UNIVERSITY King George's Medical University is a medical school, hospital and medical university located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, was established on September 16, 2002. The emblem of the medical university has a red shield with golden border has the motifs of caduceus the Staff of Hermes is a symbol with a short staff entwined by two serpents, surmounted by wings, representing the medical profession is supported at the bottom by an open book denoting knowledge, wisdom and education; crested by Ashoka Chakra, the national symbol and supported on both the sides by fish denoting abundance, fertility, transformation and adaptability. The year of the university’s establishment is placed on top. The shield is ensconced by a blue circle which supports the name, State and the place of the university. All these are supported by a blue border which is inscribed by its motto ‘Sincerity Service Sacrifice’.

UNIVERSITY OF LUCKNOW The idea of starting a University at Lucknow was first mooted by Raja Sir Mohammad Ali Mohammad Khan of Mahmudabad, who contributed an article to the columns of The Pioneer urging the foundation of a university at Lucknow. It was resolved that the University of Lucknow should be a unitary, teaching and residential university of the kind recommended by the Calcutta University Mission, 1919. The Court of the University was constituted in March, 1921. The other university authorities such as the Executive Council, the Academic Council and the faculties came into existence in August and September, 1921. On July 17, 1921, the university started teaching both formal and informal. WEST BENGAL UNIVERSITY OF ANIMAL AND FISHERY SCIENCES West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences (WBUAFS) was established on January 2, 1995 vide West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences Act - 1995. The emblem of the university is in the form of a shield in blue colour with the motifs of zebu bull seal of Harappa supported by a rising sun; caduceus or the Staff of Hermes, depicted as a stick entwined by two snakes and surmounted wings; a rabbit and a fish. At the bottom edge of the shield, its year of establishment is written. The shield has a border line. The name of the university is written as an arc of a circle at the bottom of the shield. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery. VIDHARBHA KONKAN GRAMIN BANK Vidharbha Konkan Gramin Bank (VKGB) came into existence on February 28, 2013 through amalgamation of erstwhile Wainganga Krishna Gramin Bank, Solapur and Vidharbha Kshetriya Gramin Bank, Akola, Maharashtra State. The emblem of the bank is in the form of a squircle with green border with the monogram of ‘वि’ and ‘को’ with a banner at the bottom bearing the words ‘ग्रामीण बँक’. The monogram has been treated like a pair of fish in blue and green around the vertical stroke ensconcing a mango and guava. C ENTRAL AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY The Central Agricultural University (CAU) was established under the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE) on January 26, 1993 by the Central Agricultural University Act, 1992 (No.40 of 1992) of parliament with its headquarters at Imphal, Manipur. The emblem of this university has a triangle placed in a hexagon representing the States of Northeast and is populated with a cattle, a pineapple, a lotus supported by an open book, flowing water with a fish, a flask and a test tube with a plant growing within crested with a mountain and rising sun and supported by its year of establishment. All these elements are representatives of the Northeast and the domains within the scope of the university. The book and the lotus represent knowledge, wisdom and purity. U.P. YODDHA U.P. Yoddha is the kabaddi franchise in the Pro Kabaddi League, the kabaddi team is owned by GMR Group. The team captures the warrior spirit of Uttar Pradesh. MARINE EXPORT PRODUCTS DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY The Marine Export Products Development Authority (MEPDA) was set up as a Statutory Body in 1972 under an Act of Parliament (No.13 of 1972).  The Authority, with its headquarters at Kochi and field offices in all the maritime States of India, is headed by a Chairperson. The Authority is responsible for development of the marine industry with special focus on marine exports. It is also empowered to carry out inspection of marine products, its raw material, fixing standards, specifications, and training as well as take all necessary steps for marketing the seafood overseas. Its indigo coloured logo has a sailing ship inside a globe encircled by the name of the organisation in English and Devanagari. At the bottom are prawn and fish – the major marine exports are depicted.
