CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF PUNJAB The Central University of Punjab (CUP), has been established in 2009 along with other new Central Universities by an Act of Parliament (No 25, of 2009). Its logo has a dark green rectangular portrait background on which, the feathers - depict pages of books representing social and other streams; flask – depicts pure and applied sciences; two leaves - depict life sciences; circle on the top - depicts engineering sciences; atomic symbol in circle - it indicates nuclear and other sciences; peacock formation – it represents integration of all the faculties and diverse educational fields. And the green colour - hints at concern for environment and ecology.

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ARUNACHAL PRADESH The National Institute of Technology, Arunachal Pradesh (NITAP) was inaugurated on August 18, 2010 as a member of a group of ten new NITs. These new NITs were established as centres of excellence in technical education to combat the growing need of technological professionals in India. The emblem of NIT Arunachal Pradesh depicts the value and aim of education and at the same time glorifies the natural beauty of Arunachal Pradesh. In the logo rising sun reminds us of the fact that Arunachal Pradesh is known as ‘land of rising sun’ in India. Rising sun signifies that this institute will produce new emerging talents. Open book symbolises academic betterment of students with the help of books and produce assets for the country.
