UNIVERSITY OF RAJASTHAN

UNIVERSITY OF RAJASTHAN The University of Rajputana was established in January 8, 1947. Its emblem is a three layered concentric circle. The inner circle in black colour has a traditional lamp in the middle supported on left by Ashoka Chakra, right by a book, below these by ‘1947’ and topped by its name. The second layer has its name in Devanagari write in red on a golden background on top and by its motto in Sanskrit ‘धर्मोविश्वस्य जगतः प्रतिष्ठा’ meaning ‘The Whole World is Sustainable only by Virtue of Satya, Ahimasa, Tyag, Pragna, Karuna, and Maitri’. The outermost layer is a circular lotus flower petals.

CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF RAJASTHAN

CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF RAJASTHAN The Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) has been established by an Act of Parliament (Act No. 25 of 2009) and is fully funded by the Government of India. CURAJ has 12 schools, 30 academic departments and one community college covering technology, science, humanities, commerce, management, public policy and social science programs with a strong emphasis on scientific, technological and social education as well as research. Its emblem in yellow, orange, brown and black has a pen on a book supported by left hand holding a torch and right offering a flame of glowing sun in the background of the map of the State of Rajasthan placed within an orange circle. The year of its establishment is written below. This is ensconced in a white border on which the name of the university is written in English and Devanagari. MALAVIYA NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY JAIPUR

MALAVIYA NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY JAIPUR The Institute was jointly established in 1963 as Malaviya Regional Engineering College Jaipur by the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan. Subsequently, on June 26, 2002, the college was given the status of National Institute of Technology. On August 15, 2007. The emblem of MNIT has a lamp with four burning wicks placed over a grid is supported by its tagline ‘योगः कर्मसु कौसलम्’ in Sanskrit meaning ‘Yoga is Skill in Actions’. These are ensconced by a gear wheel. This is surrounded by a yellow border on which the name is written in Hindi and English.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF CRAFTS & DESIGN, JAIPUR

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF CRAFTS & DESIGN, JAIPUR Indian Institute of Crafts & Design, Jaipur (IICD) was registered as Institute of Crafts, Jaipur on April 20, 1995 by the Registrar of Societies, Rajasthan, Jaipur under the Rajasthan Societies Registration Act 1958. Its name was changed to Indian Institute of Crafts and Design, Rajasthan, Jaipur under section 12 of the said Act on April 27, 1998. The first batch of postgraduate students was started in 1999. The first convocation was held in 2003 for the postgraduate students. An MoU was signed between the Government of Rajasthan and Ambuja Educational Institute (AEI) for transferring the management of IICD to AEI under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model on August 6, 2007. Its greyish magenta monochrome emblem is a 12 petalled lotus depicted by a paper and cloth with a big solid circle representing different materials referring different courses. Below this its name in Devanagari and English in black and grey are written.

JAIPUR METRO RAIL CORPORATION LTD.

JAIPUR METRO RAIL CORPORATION LTD. Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (JMRCL) is a rapid transit system in the city of Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Construction on the mostly elevated part of the first line, called Phase 1A, comprising 9.63 kilometre of route from Mansarovar to Chandpole Bazaar, started on November 13, 2010. Jaipur Metro began commercial service bewteeen Chandpole and and Mansarovar on June 3, 2015. This is India's sixth metro rail system. It is touted as one of the fastest built metro systems in India and is the first metro in India to run on double-storey elevated road and metro track. Its red colour emblem is interesting for its simplicity and attractiveness. It has alphabets J and M written in geometrical fashion symbolising tracks and elevated road and track ensconced in a circle. Below the circle, its name Jaipur Metro is written.

RAJASTHAN POLICE

RAJASTHAN POLICE The erstwhile princely States constituting Rajasthan varied considerably in size, population, revenue resources, administrative procedures and practices. With the merger of these States, their police forces were amalgamated into a single police force, which was known as Rajasthan Police. In the intial years after its inception, Rajasthan Police was headed by officers on deputation and the first Inspector General of Police was Shri R. Banerji, who took over on April 7, 1949. The Rajasthan Police Service was formed in January 1951 and eligible officers from all over the State were appointed. The emblem of Rajasthan Police consists of the ‘Jaya Stambh’ or Victory Tower of Chittaorgarh between two swords in saltire and a shield charged with Jaya Stambh, crested with the Asoka Capital with its motto, being the emblem of India.
