SARDAR PATEL UNIVERSITY OF POLICE, SECURITY AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE  Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice (SPUPSCJ), Jodhpur was established by an ordinance of the Government of Rajasthan on August 27, 2012. The circular emblem of the university has a shield painted with abstract strokes of national tricolours with a white, orange and green star. The shield is crested by its acronym ‘SPUP’ and supported by its motto ‘Knowledge is Power’. These are ensconced by a white circular border with blue outer lines. This border carries the name of the university and its year of establishment. The shield symbolises protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery and the star symbolises perfect harmony among all things in life, with its points providing insight into how we can strive towards achieving this goal. The star also means mutual recognition of wellbeing and to recognize good deeds and charity.

MAULANA AZAD NATIONAL URDU UNIVERSITY

MAULANA AZAD NATIONAL URDU UNIVERSITY Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University established by an Act of Parliament in 1998. The logo of the university has two strokes of orange and green forming the shape of ‘U’ in tricolour and has a ‘Ashoka Chakra’ at its top. This is supported by an open book on which images of an atom and a burning candle are depicted. Its name is written in Urdu atop the emblem on a banner; written in Devanagari on a banner above the logo and in English at its bottom. The book represents knowledge and education; the atom denotes science and the candle denotes light and guidance to discover the unknown.
