THOLASI JEWELS The seal of Tholasi Jewels is a pair of silhouetted peacocks sitting against each other and facing the exterior holding a diamond between them in burnt pink colour. Peacock and its elements are used in jewellery designs extensively and peacock is considered as a symbol of beauty and grace and is a suitable motif for jewellery. TRIRATNA The Triratna is a Buddhist symbol, thought to visually represent the Three Jewels of Buddhism, the Buddha, the Dhamma, the Sangha. The Triratna symbol is composed of: A lotus flower within a circle, a diamond rod or vajra and an ananda-chakra. A trident or trisula, with three branches, representing the threefold jewels of Buddhism. On representations of the footprint of the Buddha, the Triratna is usually also surmounted by the Dhamma wheel. INDIAN DIAMOND INSTITUTE

INDIA DIAMOND INSTITUTE With the objective of enhancing the quality, design and global competitiveness of the Indian jewellery, the Indian Diamond Institute (IDI) was established as a Society in 1978 with its office located at Surat, the world’s biggest diamond manufacturing centre. It has two campuses, one in Katargam and the oher in Vesu. The Institute is sponsored by the Department of Commerce and patronized by the Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC). The Institute conducts various diploma and other courses related to diamond trade and industry. The three year diploma course on Diamond, Gem and Jewellery Design and Manufacture conducted by IDI has been accredited by All India Council for Technical Education. The Institute also has certification services for diamonds, coloured stones and gold jewellery. Having headquarters in Kolkata, West Bengal, the Maharatna company has been ranked eight among the top twenty firms behind a third of all global carbon emissions and it contributes to around 82% of the coal production in India.
