ARUNACHAL PRADESH STATE POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD The circular green colour emblem of Arunachal Pradesh  State Pollution Control Board (APSPCB) has a globe referring to earth with layers of atmosphere, water and the soil with ‘Arunachal Pradesh’ written in between.  Its acronym is written below the globe. All these are ensconced by a thick thick circular border. The colour green symbolises all the elements of nature, agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

SARDAR BEANT SINGH STATE UNIVERSITY Sardar Beant Singh State University (SBSSU), Gurdaspur was established by the Government of Punjab as an autonomous institution through registered society. The foundation stone was laid on February 28,1994 and the college was inaugurated on August 20, 1995 by the Chief Minister Sardar Beant Singh. The emblem of the university has a circular gear wheel outer with red circular outline. The central light colour circle has the motifs of a factory with smoking chimney, a dish antenna, a computer, a mechanical equipment and a banner with the motto in Punjabi ‘ਨਿਸਚੈ ਕਰ ਅਪਨੀ ਜੀਤ ਕਰੋ’ meaning ‘Make Sure You Win’ inscribed on it. These are ensconced by a yellow circular border, which carries the name of the university and its place. THE MAHARAJA BHUPINDER SINGH PUNJAB SPORTS UNIVERSITY The Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Punjab Sports University, Patiala (MBSPSU) has been established vide Notification on August 29, 2019 under the Punjab Act No. 11 of 2019. The  UGC accorded recognition to the University under section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956 on September 9, 2019 started functioning from September 16, 2019 from the premises of Professor Gursewak Singh Government College of Physical Education, Patiala. The university has been granted membership of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) from April 1, 2020 and placed in the North Zone. It has three constituent and five affiliated colleges offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in physical education and sports, sports science, yoga, physical fitness and health science. THE JAMMU & KASHMIR RIFLES The Jammu & Kashmir Rifles has a unique regimental history. It was not raised by the British but by an intrepid Indian ruler called Gulab Singh in 1821. Gulab Singh was one of the ablest Generals of Maharaja Ranjit Singh and later became the ruler of the Jammu & Kashmir state. He and his legendary General Zorawar Singh led many spectacular campaigns to add Ladakh, Baltistan, Hunza and Skardu to the State territories. Zorawar Singh mounted a breath-taking invasion of Tibet in 1841. The state forces fought as Imperial Service troops in both World Wars under their own native officers. STATE TRADING CORPORATION OF INDIA LIMITED The State Trading Corporation of India Limited (STC) was set up on May 18, 1956, primarily with a view to undertake trade with East European countries and to supplement the efforts of private trade and industry in developing exports from the country. RUPAY RuPay is the first of its kind global card payment network of India, with wide acceptance at ATMs, POS devices and e-commerce websites across India. RuPay is a product of NPCI, the umbrella organisation that powers retail payments in the country. Its ten core promoter banks are State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda, Union Bank of India, Bank of India, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Citibank N. A. and HSBC. Currently 56 banks are shareholders of NPCI. The name derived from the words ‘Rupee’ and ‘Payment’, emphasizes that India’s very own initiative for card payments. It is India’s answer to international payment networks, expressing the pride of nationality. Its logo in dark blue colour has its name written in bold italic sans serif followed by two overlapping triangles in orange and green, symbolising swiftness of transactions.
