BIJU PATNAIK UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY The Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha, located in Rourkela was established in November 2002 through an Act of the Government. The emblem of the university has a semicircular gear wheel and semicircular Wheel of Konark together forming a full circle houses a traditional lamp. These are ensconced in a circular border, which bears the name and place of the university. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’ is written on a banner placed below the seal. The gear wheel denotes interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure; the wheel of Konark Sun Temple represents the State of Odisha; the traditional lamp denotes light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.

ALLIANCE AIR AVIATION LIMITED As the logo suggests, connecting India is what defines Alliance Air Aviation Limited as an airline. Connecting interior points to metros, adding virgin territories to our network, developing new markets, increasing business, tourism and travel to Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. Its logo has a motif of centaur shooting an arrow in a crescent - representing the wheel of Konark Sun Temple. The word mark ‘Alliance Air’ in red is written using sans serif bold italics in both Devanagari and English. The centaur logo was said to have been chosen by its founder, J. R. D. Tata.

ODISHA FOOTBALL CLUB Odisha Football Club represents the beautiful state of Odisha and was established in 2019 in a partnership with the Government of Odisha. Odisha FC participates in the Indian Super League, the top tier of Indian football. Formed in 2019, our club is driven to develop the next wave of football stars from Odisha.
