JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY, KAKINADA Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK) was established in the year 2008 vide Act No. 30 of 2008 by the State of Andhra Pradesh. The university started as College of Engineering Visakhapatnam founded by the Government of the composite Madras State in 1946. The college became a constituent of JNTU, Hyderabad in 1972. Consequent to the trifurcation of the JNTU, Hyderabad, it was notified as JNTUK Kakinada by the Act of legislature in 2008. The emblem of the university has a red rose with a pair of leaves ensconced by a gear wheel. These are circumscribed by a border on which the name and palace of the university is inscribed. At the bottom its motto in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’ is written. CHAMBAL FERTILISERS AND CHEMICALS LIMITED  Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited accounts for nearly 13% of the total urea produced in the country. Its three hi-tech nitrogenous fertiliser (urea) plants are located at Gadepan in Kota district of Rajasthan. The three plants have an installed annual production capacity of about 3.4 million metric tonnes of urea. These plants were commissioned in 1994, 1999 and 2019 respectively. The Company has further strengthened its position as a major fertiliser manufacturer in India after the commissioning of the Gadepan III plant. Its logo in green red has a red sun superimposed by three green swooshes representing its three major products. This is ensconced in the counter of a bold ‘C’ in green representing its operational domain - agriculture and agri-products.
