TAMILNADU TEACHERS EDUCATION UNIVERSITY The Government of Tamil Nadu enacted Act No.(33) of 2008 to provide for the establishment and incorporation of Tamilnadu Teachers Education University (TTEU) in the State of Tamil Nadu for promoting excellence in teachers education, which came into effect from July 1, 2008. The yellow, green and blue emblem of TTEU consists of a crest with a ribbon with a shield in the centre of the crest. The shield is divided into three parts, which depicts the three major domains of education namely cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The first domain has the satellite antenna which depicts the communication and transmission. The second has the computer which denotes innovation and technology. The third has the teacher with students which describes psychology, sociology and management. Around the shield, the name of the University is imprinted in Tamil in a circle. In the ribbon the motto of the university 'ஓதி உணர்ந்து பிறர்க்கு உரை' is
