IREL LIMITED The emblem of IREL Limited is bright green coloured pentagon shaped pictorial in which a palm of hand holding the layers of flowing water, rare earth minerals and green cover. Its name is written on the palm in Devanagari and English. The palm refers to protection, caring and nurturing; bright green colour denotes life, fertility, renewal and resurrection and the pentagon represents perfection, power, human microcosm, balance, harmony, unity and interconnectedness.

GURU JAMBHESHWAR UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY The insignia of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUST) has a green pentagon with multi-pointed star housing its name and place; a circle with abstract motifs of a scenery with a tree, sun, sky, clouds, meadow and earth. Below the star the motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानं विज्ञान सहितम्’ meaning ‘Knowledge with Science’ is written. The pentagon denotes the interconnectedness of all things in the universe and the five elements of earth, air, fire, water, and spirit; the colour green represents agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth; the scenery is that of the visualisation of bright and prosperous future of the students of the university; the multi-pointed star means perfect harmony among all things in life, with its points providing insight into how we can strive towards achieving this goal.

UNIVERSITY OF GOUR BANGA

UNIVERSITY OF GOUR BANGA The University of Gour Banga is a state aided university, which was established under the West Bengal Act XXVI of 2007 on February 19, 2008. The circular violet coloured emblem of the university has an open book in the centre circle of a square, whose corners have been treated as pentagons holding the glowing rays and supported by four pens forming the diagonals of a square  All these elements have been surrounded by thick borders and ensconced by a border with border lines bears the name of the university, a pair of twigs of leaves and its motto in Sanskrit ‘चरैवेति’ (Section 3, Chapter 3, Aitareya Brahmana) meaning ‘Keep Going, Keep Going’. The twigs of leaves denote hope, renewal, revival and growth; pen signifies communication, creativity, power, knowledge, thought and written word; open book means knowledge and wisdom and pentagons signifies balance, harmony and equilibrium of five elements of nature.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AMRITSAR Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Amritsar is the fifteenth IIM set up by the Ministry of Education (earlier Ministry of Human Resource Development) with the support of the Government of Punjab. After the registration of IIM Amritsar Society on July 27, 2015, the first batch for the class of 2015-17 was enrolled in August 2015. The Indian Institute of Management Amritsar organised a logo with moto design competition, online through the ‘MyGov’ portal in January 2018 in order to seek people’s involvement and participation in the promotion of IIM Amritsar. A total of 850 entries were received for logo with moto design from different parts of the country. The expert committee shortlisted five entries for the selection of final selection of logo for IIM Amritsar and Board of Governors of IIM Amritsar finalised the logo. NORTH ZONE CULTURAL CENTRE

NORTH ZONE CULTURAL CENTRE The North Zone Cultural Centre (NZCC) is located in Sheesh Mahal, Patiala. Patiala is the city of gardens and universities. The then Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi inaugurated the North Zone Cultural Centre on November 6, 1985. The Centre has been registered under the registration of Societies Act 1860. The NZCC is one of the seven cultural centers `established in the country to strengthen the ancient roots of Indian culture and evolve and enrich composite national culture. The centre comprises regions from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttrakhand, Rajasthan and Union Teritory Chandigarh.
