MANAV BHARTI UNIVERSITY The emblem of Manav Bharti University (MBU) has a circular spread of lotus  on which a circular border carrying its name and its slogan ‘Shape Your Career’ is placed. Inside the border the image of Goddess Saraswati - the God of Learning and Knowledge is placed. Its name is written on a banner placed below the circle in Devanagari. Its year of inception is written below the banner. 

ABHILASHI UNIVERSITY

ABHILASHI UNIVERSITY The emblem of the Abhilashi University (AU) has a Goddess Saraswati sitting on a white lotus, with veena supported by an open book. The image is ensconced by a decorative golden border and a red circular border on which its name is inscribed. Below this round seal on a red banner its motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्या ददाति विनयम्’ (Narayan Pandit, 6, Hitopadesha) meaning ‘Education Makes one Humble’. Goddess Saraswati represents education, learning, wisdom and knowledge; the open book also symbolises the same and the colour red denotes passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration.

HEMCHANDRACHARYA NORTH GUJARAT UNIVERSITY The emblem of Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University (HNGU) has a line drawing of Goddess Saraswati seated on a lotus with swan and veena, placed on a pedastel with an attractive arch with decorations. The arch bears its name in Devanagari. The Goddess represents learning, education, wisdom, knowledge and learning. The motto in Sanskrit ‘पावका नः सरस्वती’ (Rig Veda 1.3.10) meaning ‘Sarasvatī, the Purifier’ is placed below the motif of Goddess. 

GALGOTIAS UNIVERSITY

GALGOTIAS UNIVERSITY  The emblem of Galgotias University is a pictorial inspired from its acronym ‘GU’ and its three guiding qualities of trust, dependability and commitment. The swooshes forming a circle created using red, yellow and blue represent these qualities and in the counter of the pictorial an image of Goddess Saraswati, the God of Learning is placed. The colour red denotes passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration; yellow symbolises happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity and blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

JANARDAN RAI NAGAR RAJASTHAN VIDYAPEETH

JANARDAN RAI NAGAR RAJASTHAN VIDYAPEETH  Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth is a Deemed University in Udaipur, Rajasthan. It became a deemed university in 1987. The circular emblem of the university has a tower of a temple housing a man and woman worshipping Goddess Saraswati supported by an open book. On the pages of the book its motto in Sanskrit ‘सरस्वती देवयन्तो हवन्ते’ (10.17.7 Rigveda) meaning ‘The Devout Invoke Saraswati’ is written. At the bottom a traditional lamp is placed. Below these on a banner the name of the university and place are written in Devanagari. At the bottom, on a banner its year of founding is written. The Goddess Saraswati is the god for learning, knowledge and wisdom; the open book denotes knowledge and wisdom and the traditional lamp denotes light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.

CHAITANYA

CHAITANYA Chaitanya ‘Deemed to be University’ was founded by the Viswa Bharati Education Society in 1991. The emblem of the university has Goddess Saraswati, the God of learning, knowledge and wisdom placed on the map of India in a circle. This is crested by an open book, which supports a rising sun. All these are placed in a light yellow coloured circle. This circle is circumscribed by a blue border with a red borderline carrying the name, status and the address of the university. At the bottom, on a light green banner its motto ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya,1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘Lead me from Darkness to Light’ is written. The open book symbolises knowledge and wisdom and the sun symbolises light, universal prosperity and path for growth.

KAMESHWAR SINGH DARBHANGA SANSKRIT UNIVERSITY

KAMESHWAR SINGH DARBHANGA SANSKRIT UNIVERSITY The Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit Vishvavidyalay was established under the Act, 1960 was established on January 26, 1961. The university became Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University in 1990. Its orange circular emblem has peepal tree topped with a slogan in Sanskrit ‘स्वतः प्रमाणं परतः प्रमाणम्’ meaning ‘Self-evidence is Beyond Evidence’, supported by a veena; a lotus blooming in a river with fish; mountains with flowing rivers and shining sky in the backdrop is ensconced in a circular border, on which its name is written in Devanagari. Above the veena the motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘ब्रह्मस्ते सवितर्बोधैर्यनम्’ is placed. Light denotes the way forward and path; mountains denote the immeasurable and unfathomable; peepal tree denotes vision and enlightenment, flowing rivers denote life and duty; fish denote abundance and fertility; veena denotes Goddess Saraswati and lotus denotes purity and knowledge.

CENTURION UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT, ODISHA Centurion University of Technology and Management is a multi-sector, private state university from Odisha, India. With its main campus earlier at Parlakhemundi in the Gajapati and another constituent campus located at Jatni, on the fringes of Bhubaneswar, which is now as main campus which was accorded the status of a university in the year 2010. Its emblem has a shield diagonally divided into two, has a globe and a book supported on the left side by a peacock, right side by a swan and crested by a rising sun. The book and the globe symbolise knowledge for the world and the sun symbolises new dawn. The peacock represents grace, broadmindedness and free spirit; the swan symbolises the Goddess Saraswath, the God of learning and wisdom. SHARDA UNIVERSITY Sharda University is a venture of the renowned Sharda Group of Institutions (SGI). The name of University, 'Sharda' is synonymous to 'Goddess of knowledge and learning - Saraswati'. She is identified with 'veena' an Indian musical instrument and the 'lotus' where she resides. The lotus in the logo symbolises the seat of learning that the university is created for. Variety of colours signify the variety of disciplines the university offers and the overlap between petals creating new colours demonstrate the ethos of collaboration between students and teachers of different programmes, nationality, creed and colour working towards creating new knowledge. The petals leading towards a star is an embodiment of the university's cherished mission to provide education beyond boundaries and to facilitate the students and faculty to achieve pinnacles of success throughout the world.
